Online Privacy
Today the internet has reached a level that
had not been imagined before.
The population that uses
the internet has grown to an outstanding
thirty-three percent of the world’s population.
But as the years have followed through there have been rising problems as there have been victims of various attacks such as identity theft and other problems like companies tracking people. Various websites have been accused of using illegal methods to track people for marketing and advertising purposes but it is considered an invasion of privacy. Everyone should become aware of this situation because anyone can be a victim. This should try to be prevented in the future as the internet continues to grow. This report will give an insight on what is happening as one surfs the internet. I believe there should be privacy to a certain extent. Information should not be gathered in a manner that invades the privacy of the people. It should be done in such manner that it protects the people instead of stripping them of their right to privacy. I advocate to stop the invasion of online privacy and have at least some sort of laws in favor of online privacy in the near future.
